Jealous, I've been looking for a pool to jump into since I moved out of my apartment in Phoenix. Lakes and rivers are now replacement to good 'ol chlorination and concrete.

Thanks for the input man. I would agree that I'm moderate, in that they only come once a year. I'm not chronic, but damn I feel for anyone who is. I've found am amazing doctor who is putting me in for a study to get that occipital nerve block. I hope that happens.

Its been a couple years since I posted this, so I've definitely got a good system now to fight the beast. Best of luck to you sir, and if you ever need any help or just want to scream in someones ear, hit me up.

3 years ago, I had a nine-month stretch of attacks every day at 5:00 PM. So, it was a fairly convenient time. Then, it went away for over 2 years.

And they lived happily ever after...not really. They're back and hitting hard. I diagnosed myself and chose the oxygen route. To avoid doctors, I bought a welders tank and regulator. A local cop supply store had the non-rebreather mask I needed. I get oxygen from Airgas.

I advise telling everyone you see regularly about what they are. I find it helps to reduce the stress and worry that someone will approach me and offer up a pill of some kind. To be sure though, keep your gun cocked and aimed at the door (with your free hand that is).

For those who don't suffer, anything short of a morphine injection isn't worth the pain of bothering. You sound like a moderate case. I have a range of moderate to horrible. I get very sweaty within minutes...very nauseated but don't vomit...very vocal but only howl and growl. Howling at the right frequency and preventing heart rhythm issues are key. Sometimes I find myself repeating, "go away!" or "no, no, no."

Tonight, I'm going to devise a way to inhale cold air. If you can stand the pain of getting to the refrigerator it might help to put your head in the freezer and take slow, deep breaths.

I care that you're in pain and wish it goes away for you. Keep trying and you'll kill the beast.

Later, PK

I liked it the way I liked those theme park rides where you sit in front of a screen and your chairs move around. It was entertaining as hell despite the story being pretty stupid, and the action was pretty bad ass. Cameron is usually pretty great at handling action. I almost threw up all over myself though when I realized that even the fucking SUBTITLES were in Papyrus.

Whoa! The man himself! Thank you so much for the idea. The stuff you made was amazingly clever. My hat goes off to you.

I'm just grateful for the experience.
